I'm noticing a trend on facebook. My high school friends are ecstatic due to lack of school, my SU friends likewise. My Wor-Wic friends? Throwing fits because we're the only place in the county not closed. The 3 counties we encompass are, Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester, and SU is closed, but we are not. I am a little flustered over the matter considering everywhere I'm reading is also saying the roads are bad (my dad tells me otherwise, but he's the only one to do such) and my car is little and not prone to this weather.
Please Optimus Prime my lord and savior, close the schools for me. PLEASE!!!! No one's gonna even show up if we do have class, and we'll probably get out early of classes. What a WASTE!!

Look Alive
Rachel is over and we've been snowed in all day. There is roughly 10 inches of snow on the ground. I'm praying to god I don't have to go to work tomorrow because the one time I was in the car today it turned a 15 minute drive into a 45 minute one and my car is just little and not good in inclement weather. Plus it's a Sunday so I won't be making shit anyway.
We're spending our evening watching an Incubus DVD. Very typical of Rachel and I. We're Incubus fans to the core, and have been devout fans since 7th grade. We know virtually every lyric to every song (that's about 8 albums!) and pretty much every band members background/life story. We know, we're pathetic. We do not care. :)
Aunt Margo and Uncle Richard lost power in their house due to the weather and are here having a "SLEEPOVER" with the dogs. No way they could sleep without heat over night. Yeah right, that'd be terrible. I think my Uncle would legit turn into an icicle.
I have a concert on Monday in Baltimore that I'm going to with Rachel, Nicole, Josh and Jordan (+ the crew that already lives up there). The band is called Between the Buried and Me. They're a progressive metal band- their song length is usually 8-13 minutes long per song. That may sound long and like it'd get boring quickly but my god, these guys are musical geniuses. Their guitarist(s?) is/are mind boggling and I cannot wait to see this band live. The live footage I've seen proved to be flawless! I cannot wait!
Yeah yeah, I've picked up blogging again. Happiness ensues for my family members.

Wat
Tonight at work I made seven dollars. SEVEN. THAT IS TERRIBLE. I MADE A DOLLAR FOR EVERY TABLE THAT WALKED IN THE DOOR. Terrible. At least I made good money Monday night, thankfully since I get to pick up a table or two on Mondays :]
I'm super stoked for this weekend. Friday night I'm going with Nicole and Rachel to a local bands CD release party then going to Joshs with Nicole to hang out with him and his roommates, then Nicole and I are havin' a sleepovaaaa. :D <3 She normally isn't in town this long, she goes to UMBC for college but since she couldn't afford spring semester she's stuck her. I feel really bad for her cause she hates it but for selfish reasons I like having her here >_> Bahaha.
I have homework to do, in CMP101 which is not a computer class, but a Windows Vista class! Who woulda thought?! It pisses me off to no end because it's an utterly useless class to me. I can't even do my homework on my Mac because the program we use for homework only works with Internet Explorer. God forbid. If you're gonna force me to take a shitty class that is a waste of my time because I'm not even a PC user, can't you at least use Firefox, the superior web browser? Dangggggggg.
On tuesdays I'm at school from 9 am to 4:35 pm. I have only done this day twice so far, and I came home unbearably cranky both times (mother can attest to that). I don't think I could ever work 9-5. It'd be one thing to not be balancing school/work/barn work but it gets hard. I'm not looking for pity but I would just like to not be cranky!
aaaaaaaaaaaaand that's all folks.

Why?
Why do you keep doing this to yourself? You may not be a part of my life anymore, or my problem (thank god) but I still give a fuck what happens to you. Is that bad? I don't think so. It's so disheartening to hear that since our lives took two different paths you're going even further downhill then you already WERE going. You can do so much better for yourself, I can't believe what an idiot you're being.
In other news:
Classes won't be hard, but a lot of work. The workload in all my classes is large, but shouldn't be TOO difficult. So far I'm managing a happy balance between good grades and a life, yay!
I'm very thrilled I get to ride a lot more again! Weather lately has been terrible and prevented me or any of us down there for that matter to ride much if at all. It SUCKED! I also ordered my boots I was given $ towards for Christmas and had to send them back for a smaller calf size.. and now they're back ordered until March. COME ON!! I have THE WORST luck with Dover, especially when it's something I'm highly anticipating the arrival of >:(.
I'm still dating the same boy. Yeah, that one. He's so cute and funny and I adore him to bits and pieces. We never fight, and our little disagreements are quickly settled. It's so enjoyable to finally be in a relationship that isn't just one-sided, with someone who really cares for me/my feelings. Oh, and has a life/job. That's nice, too :D
and ummm stuff and things aaaaand yeah!
done, good night!

Bone to pick with society?!
Why is it now the hip/cute thing for girls to be gamers? Because some weird guys find it hot? Whatever it is, I'm sick of it. I hate how I'm being throwed into this category with all these inept girls with 0 personality. I've been playing video games since day one. I don't wanna hear all these girls giggling into the mic on xbox and going 0 and 17, but no one gives a shit cause they're a girl.
Like, really? So gay.
In other news, Key Largo was so fun. I have homesick issues, I will admit, so by the 2nd to last day I was ready to go home. But we had a lot of fun while we're there. It's probably my favorite spot to vacation because it's so low key. It's not a pre-planned vacation where we wake up at 6 am every morning and go do a million different things. We go to bed when we want, wake up when we want, if we wanna go on the boat all we have to do is ask. We had a lot of gooooood food which is always a big plus. mmmmm.
This upcoming week is my last week of winter break before I start spring semester. Not excited, at all. Taking 5 classes, NO history classes... ugh. :( Oh well, I'll get through it.. on the bright side during that semester I'll only be working 2 nights a week, so I'll be able to balance everything. Yay!
